PURPOSE:To perform power saving operation stable over a long period of time by suppressing the re-scattering of collected dust, by raising the charge voltage and discharge current between electrodes in the dust collection chamber in the downstream side from a dust collection chamber concerned to predetermined values at the time of the hammering of a dust collection electrode. CONSTITUTION:A charge signal generation part 18 takes-in the output signals from an operation circuit and a hammering control apparatus 40 and an order signal, which sets the charge voltage and discharge current between the discharge electrode and dust collection electrode of the dust collection chamber positioned in the downstream side of a gas stream from dust collection chambers 1F-4F of which the dust collection electrodes are hammered to values immediately before spark discharge is generated, is outputted to the discharge current setting device in a charge control circuit 11. The control circuit 11 receives set output from the discharge current setting device to output a signal controlling the output voltage of each power source apparatus 20 to a thyristor. Therefore, the re-scattering of the collected dust on the dust collection electrode in the other dust collection chamber by the hammering of the dust collection electrode is suppressed.
