PURPOSE:To improve reliability of strength for a control device by preparing the polygons similar to each other for the outer circumferential surface of a ball part of a control lever and the inner circumferential surface of a socket respectively. CONSTITUTION:A control device for operation of a control hydraulic valve contains a control lever, a socket, a yoke, etc. The control lever includes a lever main body 11, a ball part 6 and a grip. The part 6 has a polygonal (hexagonal) cross section at its outer circumferential. A socket is fixed on a guide pipe and bears the part 6 and consists of upper and lower sokets 22 and 23. Here the inner circumferential surface (incl. an upper end sloping surface 26 and an upper inner circumferential surface 27) of the lower socket 23 has a hexagonal cross section analogous to the part 6. Thus the control lever can be freely tilted like a conventional control device and the rotation of the control lever can be prevented by engagement of corner parts between the part 6 and the socket 23.
