PURPOSE:To require no operation by an operator and to eliminate an erroneous connection resulting due to a mistake in operating by monitoring time information generated in a timer means, controlling a prescribed cross point at a specific time and carrying out automatically opening and closing. CONSTITUTION:The timer circuit 70 generates the time information of hour, minute and second and informs to a CPU 61. In a ROM 62 of a control circuit 60, a program for controlling the opening and the closing of the cross points 3111-31mn of a switch matrix 30 and the time information indicating the opening and the closing time of the individual cross points 31 are stored. The CPU 61, according to the microprogram in the ROM 62, successively reads the time information from the circuit 70, collates to the opening and closing time of the respective cross points 31 stores in the ROM 62, controls the opening and the closing of the cross points 31 in which the time coincides through a programmable input and output circuit 64, thereby, the line connection is automatically controlled.
