PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive microcapsule having extremely high sensitivity by using a wall material contg. silver halide as a shell. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive microcapsule consists of the wall material contg. the silver halide as the shell and contains a polymerizable compd. in the core material. The microcapsule has the extremely high sensitivity to light as the silver halide is used as an optical sensor and the silver halide exists in the shell which is most preferable in terms of the utilizing efficiency of light. The silver halide is hardly contained in the released matter when a method for releasing the core material contg. the polymerizable compd., etc., by rupturing the uncured microcapsule is intended as a method for using the microcapsule. The recovery of costly silver is, therefore, easy and the formation of silver by the released matter by the effect of light and the consequent generation of color clouding are obviated. |
