<p>PURPOSE:To make the reducing/magnifying process of a picture into high speed, by extracting the number of picture element values corresponding to reducing/ magnifying ratios comprehensively from a picture element value group of one word length, by a rotator, and a masking circuit. CONSTITUTION:A picture data is latched at an input register 1, and when reducing, it is transferred to a reduction picture element value generation circuit 2. The circuit 2 extracts the number of picture element values corresponding to the reduction ratio from the picture element group of one word length, and transfers them to a rotator 5. The rotator 5 refers a rotate quantity stored at a ROM7, and shifts an extracted data to a data position to be packed. Next, they are transferred to a masking circuit 4, and the data position of one word packed from a temporary register is outputted to an output register 6. When magnifying, the rotator 5 rotates so as to set the position to start the magnification at the highest-order position, and inputs it to a magnification picture element value generation circuit 3. The circuit 3 outputs it as the picture data of one word length to the register 6. Therefore, the process of the picture element value is performed in the unit of word, thereby, the process is made into high speed.</p> |
