PURPOSE:To cut down the cost of the title electrode material by a method wherein a conductive metal film is formed by deposition on the surface of a substrate by immersion-plating an electrode substrate in the fused-salt bath of a conductive metal. CONSTITUTION:The title manufacturing method is the method in which a conductive metal film is formed by deposition on the surface of a substrate by conducting immersion-plating on an electrode substrate in the fusion salt bath of conductive metal. Aluminum foil is used for the electrode substrate, and as the conductive metal for formation of a film on the surface of the electrode substrate, a kind selected from titanium, tantalum, niobium, zirconium and silicon or their alloy can be enumerated. Also, a mixture of fused salt consisting of the chloride or the fluoride of conductive metal, and alkaline metallic salt or an organic chloride can be used for the fusion-salt bath. As a result, the electrode material, having excellent characteristics of electrostatic capacitance, can be produced at low cost in a highly efficient manner. |
