<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the increase of traffic and the increase of transmission delay generated in a communication network by constituting plural logically shortest path for each inter-network connector, deciding and instructing it by an inter-center network connector. CONSTITUTION:Among inter-network connectors 302-304, its own inter-network connection information is inquired and mutually exchanged by packets 307 and 308, and the devices 302-304 register the inter-network connection information of the other devices on its own memories. Then, for example, the device 302 representative as an inter-network connection information report packet 313 transmits the registered inter-network connection information to an inter- center network connector 301 executing total control. The device 301 constitutes the shortest path based on this information, transmits operation control packets 314-316 to the devices 302-304 and instructs operations. Thus, since the respective packets are routed along the optimum path on the constituted shortest path, traffic with a routing packet is suppressed at a minimum, and transmission delay can be suppressed at a minimum.</p> |
