<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish accurate operation of the device by ensuring the detection of a human body regardless of the direction in which a man approaches. CONSTITUTION:In this human body detector, a (+) element 5 and a (-) element 6 of a pyroelectric element are arranged at positions separated by focal lengths 1 of lenses from the centers 8 and 9 thereof. Among a plurality of lenses, the interval of the centers 8 and 9 of adjacent lenses is so set that distances L between centers of areas 10 and 11 and 10' and 11' divided by the groups thereof to be detected with the respective lines are about 20cm or about 30cm at the maximum detection distance (h). Moreover, in the human body detector, the detection areas with the respective lens are set as not to overlap one another.</p> |
