PURPOSE:To save time and to eliminate the waste of an object to be marked by superposing the image taken by a camera and the character to be actually marked and generating the image marking the character to the object to be marked. CONSTITUTION:The camera 1 photographs the object 2 to be subjected to laser marking on a laser marker stage 3 and transmits the image signal thereof to an image processor 5. The signal for setting the laser marking character and the character position is transmitted from a laser marker CPU 6 to the image processor 5 and is processed by the image processor 5, by which the image photographed by the camera 1 and the laser marking character are made into the superposed image. The image is transmitted to a monitor 4 and the image of the same state as the state when the marking is actually made, i.e., the state in which the size and position of the character with respect to the object to be marked are at the same ratios as the ratio of the actual marking is projected on the monitor 4. |
