PURPOSE:To safely and quickly relieve passengers by deciding the number of elevators capable of being operated based on a required power capacity at a minimum acceleration within the range of the allowable value of a private power generation capacity and according to the load condition of the elevator and deciding the acceleration within the range of the allowance of the allowable value. CONSTITUTION:When a control operation controller 2 operates and controls an elevator by a private power generation source at the time of a power failure, it calculates a current value compensating an unbalance load in a cage and decides the number of the elevators capable of being simultaneously operated within the maximum allowable current of the private power generation source. At the same time, the sum of load current required for the elevators is compared with the maximum allowable current of the private power generation source to decide a maximum allowable acceleration and apply an operation permitting command and an acceleration command to the elevator permitted to operate. The allowable capacity data of the private power generation source is constantly inputted from a building computer 3 to apply the number of operating elevators and the acceleration command corresponding to a current allowable capacity. |
