<p>PURPOSE:To make a running direction into a fixed direction by operating a switching lever for a mechanism through a converting lever by the operation of a connecting rod engaged with a cassette cover. CONSTITUTION:A connecting rod 13 moves by the relations between the engagement between one edge of the rod 13 fitted to a cassette cover body 12 and a converting lever 14 and the operational direction of the converting lever 14 according to the opening and closing of the cassette cover body 12. Since the converting lever 14 engaged with the connecting rod 13 is fitted to the shaft of a mechanism body 11, the converting lever 14 executes revolving motion, rotates in a C direction when the cover body 12 is closed from its open state to its midpoint, and displaces at the maximum angle at the midpoint. At that time, a switching lever 15 is pressed by the converting lever 14, executes linear motion, and set to a fixed position, and the tape running direction is determined. When the cover body 12 is further closed from the midpoint, the converting lever 14 executes the revolving motion in a D direction, and when the cover body 12 is completely closed, the converting lever 14 rotates and moves up to its original position. Thus, the determined tape running direction can be always obtained regardless of the existence of a power source.</p> |
