<p>PURPOSE:To offer the image display device which switches over to an editing mode without ending a split display mode and enables editing operation on a split display surface. CONSTITUTION:Input image data are processed, page by page, to specific size and stored in an image memory 13 and a display image 15 is divided into a specific number of areas; and a divided image of one page is displayed in each area in order and when the images are displayed in all the areas, a page turning-over display for updating the image to an image of a next page is made in the order of the displayed areas. A memory stored with page information for an editing process is provided and when the page stored in this memory is displayed, the page turning-over display is stopped and also fixed to be displayed, so that only the page which is fixed can be edited.</p> |
