PURPOSE:To form a copy picture in which a prescribed area of an original is converted into a desired designation color in a short processing time by setting respectively a threshold level to a density data corresponding to each primary color of an input picture data and comparing each threshold level and each density data respectively. CONSTITUTION:A threshold level setting means 105 set threshold levels 16-18 with respect to R, G, B density data in an input picture data respectively. The density data 13-15 are compared respectively with respect to the se threshold levels 16-18 by comparison means 101-1-3, and when it is discriminated that each density data exceeds the corresponding threshold level, the output means outputs a picture data as a desired designated color data with respect to the color area of the picture set with the threshold level. Thus, a copying picture in which the color part of a picture desired to be converted is converted into a desired designated color based on the R, G, B density set by the threshold level is formed. |
