An apparatus for casting mold fabrication that utilizes steam heating. This apparatus includes a shaping mold with cavity; a resin-coated sand supply part for supplying of a resin-coated sand into the cavity; a steam supply part for supplying of steam into the cavity; and a steam emission part for emitting of steam from the cavity. At least portion of the shaping mold consists of a porous material with an average pore diameter smaller than the average grain diameter of the resin-coated sand, so that at least portion of the steam is fed through the porous material into the cavity. As steam can be uniformly fed into the cavity, a homogeneous casting mold can be fabricated. |
