The high frequency heating tube is for browning surface of food in microwave oven. The high frequency tube includes a protective tube (1) made of a microwave permeable material to protect a heating tube (3), a holder (2) having elasticity to absorb the expansion of a heating tube, a heating tube (3) for browning surface of food, and a layer (4) for preventing thermal transmission from the heating tube. The heating tube is made by mixing a silica powder and a high frequency lossy material to get high temperature rising for a short time.
