For PIP (picture-in-picture) method, this scheme is capable of varying window signal of PIP screen and of enlarging in 3-steps while maintaining PIP size memory capacity. Then it enhances the resolution of PIP by using the line buffer and interpoletrion method. The circuitry is implemented in control signal generator due to vertical and horizontal enlargement (10), selector control signal for positioning the bank (20), horizontal window signal decision circuit (30) for the left and right PIP to enlarge, vertical window signal decision circuit (40) for the top and bottom of PIP position to enlarge and PIP enlargement window signal (WD) generator (50). |
