<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the air filter device which is inexpensive and is large in the effective area of an electrostatic filter. CONSTITUTION:This air filter device has the electrostatic filter 7 and electrodes 4, 6 for applying a voltage to this electrostatic filter and since this electrode 4 is formed of insulated electric wires, the need for an insulation operation, etc., which are heretofore required is eliminated and since the electrode is formed of the inexpensive insulated electric wires, the cost of the electrode is reduced. In addition, the need for constituting parts for covering the electrostatic filter 9, such as insulation cover, which are heretofore required is eliminated and the effective area of the electrostatic filter 7 is increased. The dust collecting performance of the air filter device 1 is thus improved.</p> |
