<p>A vibration isolating mount (10) for connecting spaced structures and limiting noise transmission between the connected structures, such as between an aircraft and a turbine engine (E). The isolator (10) comprises a pair of arms (24, 26) which are interconnected at one location by a torque tube (28) pivotally connected to the aircraft structure and which are interconnected at another location by a tie brace (30) which is also connected to the aircraft structure by a vibration isolator pad (50). The engine (E) is connected to the arms (24, 26) by a hanger (H). The mount (10) accepts various engine loads and reactions while minimizing the transmission of engine noise into the cabin of the aircraft. <IMAGE></p> |
