PURPOSE:To manufacture foam molded body equipped with through holes at high productivity rate by a method wherein mixture of closed-cell foam particles and liquid adhesive is filled in a forming mold, which is detachably spanned with through hole forming rods and, after that, the adhesive is hardened. CONSTITUTION:Each through hole forming rod 5, with which a forming mold is transversely spanned, is covered in advance with release film 8. Mixture of closed-cell foam particles (a) and liquid adhesive (b) is filled fro the top face side, from which a lid 2 is removed, of the forming mold in the forming mold. Next, hot air, the temperature of which is lower than the melting point of the release film 8, is supplied through a chamber 4 in the forming mold so as to dry and harden the adhesive (b) in order to bond the foam particles (a) with each other, resulting in forming a foam block body having gaps (c), through which fluid can pass between the foam particles (a). After the through hole forming rods 5 are drawn out of the foam block body, the foam block body, onto which the release films 8 are adhered as they re, is released from the mold and cut to lengths, resulting in allowing to obtain foam molded bodies 11 having through holes 12. |
