PURPOSE:To attain rapid comparing operation by making it possible to execute the comparing operation of data having respectively different element size in parallel only by one processing based upon the same hardware. CONSTITUTION:The OR operation of four compared results detected in each 8 bits is executed by a comparison deciding circuit 23 to execute the parallel comparing processing of four data each of which is constituted of an element consisting of 8 bits. Then, the OR operation of two ANDs each of which is found out from two compared results out of four is executed by the circuit 23 to execute two parallel comparing operations of data each of which is constituted of a 16-bit element. Then, the AND operation of four compared results detected in each 8 bits is executed to execute the comparing operation of data constituted of a 32-bit element. |
