PURPOSE:To obtain the small-sized structure which has large strength against vibration by fixing plural optical fibers so that planes containing the optical fibers are not in level on both sides of a fusion coupling part. CONSTITUTION:The fusion coupling part 5 of two optical fibers 2 and 3 is put in a cylindrical storage member 10 and the optical fibers 2 and 3 on both sides are fixed by being adhered to both left and right end surfaces of the storage member 10 by using an adhesive, etc. Then the plane formed of the two optical fibers 2 and 3 projecting out from the left end surface of the storage member 10 and the plane formed of the two optical fibers 2 and 3 projecting from the right end surfaces of the storage member 10 are in mutually 90 deg.C position relation. Therefore, even if vibration is applied at right angles to the length direction of the storage part 10, a resonance phenomenon is hard to occur and the strength to the vibration is increased. Further, the structure can be constituted only by making the fixation position relation of the optical fibers 2 and 3 to the storage member 10 different from conventional one, so the structure itself does not become larger than a conventional storage member 10. |
