SAFETY DEVICE FOR TIRE VULCANIZING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To secure the prevention of dropping a top force from an upper mold mounting member by installing a supporting member movable between the lower side position of the top force and the avoiding position from the top force and supported by a press frame or an upper mold mounting member on the lower side position. CONSTITUTION:An upper mold mounting member 3 for mounting top and bottom forces separably and an upper mold mounting member 3 for mounting the top force 1 facing downwardly, a press frame 5 for guiding an upper mold mounting member 3 in the up and down direction and a lifting device 10 for retaining the upper mold mounting member 3 on the lifting position are provided on a tire vulcanzing machine. A section 13 movable between the lower side position of the top force 1 and the avoiding position from the top force 1 and supported by the press frame 5 on the lower side position, and an air cylinder 14 for switching over freely the section 13 from the lower side position to the back position or vice versa are installed. The detaching of the top force 1 from the upper mold mounting member 3 can be surely prevented by the arrangement.
