New benzoylphenylurea insecticides and methods of using certain benzoylphenylureas to control cockroaches, ants, fleas, and termites

Compounds of formula (I) wherein R<1> and R<2> are H, methyl, or ethyl, have unexpected activity against cockroaches, ants, fleas, and termites. Compounds wherein at least one of R<1> and R<2> is methyl or ethyl are novel.
