PURPOSE:To perform squat reduction control without worsening shift shock. CONSTITUTION:A step when a start is effected at a forward range, is selected by a shift selecting means 5 for start. It is decided by a squat deciding means 4 whether squat reduction control is effected. When squat reduction control is effected, a step achieved by switching only the one of a main gear shifting part 1 and an auxiliary gear shifting part 2, 1.e., a step at which a simultaneous shift does not occur, is selected as a step for squat reduction control by a shift selecting means 6 for squat control in relation to the selected step for start. Thus, when starting is effected at a forward range, even when a step is different, a simultaneous shift occasioned by squat reduction control does not occur. |
