PURPOSE: An LCD prevents the operation ratio from being reduced by locating the gate line connection part at the lower part of the data line and prevents the defect due to short line between the substantive line and the connection part by arranging the substances sequentially to each corresponding pixel. CONSTITUTION: An LCD comprises a first and second gate line(101, 102), a gate line connection part(103), a substantive line(104), a gate insulation layer, a semiconductor layer(300), a resistance contact layer, a data line(400), a protection insulation layer, and a transparent connection pattern(620). The gate insulation layer covers the first and second gate line, gate line connection part(103) and the substantive line(104) and the semiconductor layer is formed at the upper part of the gate line(101). The resistance contact layer for enhancing the electric contact is formed on the semiconductor layer and the source electrode and the drain electrode are formed thereof. The gate line(400) is formed on the gate insulation layer and the gate line is connected with the source electrode.
