PURPOSE: A control unit for idle rotation of an engine is provided to automatically control the idle rotation of an engine if the state of the engine exceeds the set time as a vehicle is parked or stopped. CONSTITUTION: A control unit for idle rotation is made up of: an emission controlled module for detecting the traveling state of a vehicle having an engine; a rotational frequency sensor for an engine; an actuator installed on the side of a throttle body to control the movement of the throttle body as control signals are inputted to feed electric power to the vehicle; and a controller for feeding the control signals to the actuator if it judges that the rotational frequency of the engine does not reach the set idle rotation on the basis of the detected traveling state of the vehicle and the rotational frequency of the engine as the vehicle is parked or stopped. Therefore, the control unit has the effect to prevent pollutants from being exhausted and to prevent the power loss as well as to reduce the unnecessary fuel consumption according.
