METHOD FOR SCROLLING PATHS EXPLORED IN VEHICLE NAVIGATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for scrolling paths explored in a vehicle navigation system is provided to search a destination within short time by performing an automatic scroll for explored paths. CONSTITUTION: A method for scrolling paths explored in a vehicle navigation system comprises the steps of: substituting a current node(P) for a starting node(N0) and substituting 1 for index value; comparing and determining the current node and a destination; obtaining a distance difference between the current node and the next node and substituting an X-axis value of the current node(P) for a parameter(Xc) after obtaining a linear equation according to coordinates; comparing the parameter(Xc) and X-axis value of the next node and inputting Ni to the current node and inputting i+1 to the index i if same; obtaining an Y-axis value(Yc) and defining a coordinate value (Xc, Yc) as a center point of screen if not same, and moving a scroll according to a distance value between the current node and the next node.
