PURPOSE: A floor hinge having water-proof and insulation functions and a mounting method thereof are provided to mount a floor hinge without any possibility of permeation of polluted water from the outside by completely filling sealing material in a casing incorporating a hinge main body and completely shutting off ambient air, thereby preventing corrosion of component parts and freezing of the hinge due to the transmission of the ambient air to the hinge. CONSTITUTION: A floor hinge having water-proof and insulation functions includes a casing(10) formed in the shape of box opened upwardly to be buried in a floor to be positioned with a rotation shaft of door, a hinge main body(20) mounted in the casing and coupled with a hinge shaft(21) at a lower end part of a door panel(D) for rotatably supporting the door panel and formed with a hydraulic pressure controlling screw hole to be opened on the door panel, a cover plate(30) covering a top surface of the casing by penetrated by the hinge shaft in a hinge shaft receiving hole for shutting off an inside space of the casing and the hinge main body except an upper end part of the hinge shaft, and sealing material(40) formed of silicon resin to be filled in residual space of the casing incorporating the hinge main body.
