ULTRASONIC PROBE AND ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To enable the drawing of a two-way ultrasonic tomographic image which is easy of vertical operation in real time with two piezo-electric element vibrator arrays orthogonal to each other. CONSTITUTION:A gradient angle 14 of a piezo-electric vibrator 12 is 45 deg. to a scan axis 33 of a piezo-electric vibrator array 11 and a piezo-electric vibrator array 13 the same in angle is arranged orthogonal to the piezo-electric vibrator array 11. The piezo-electric vibrators 12 and 17 are connected to an ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus body 41 via a lead 24 and a wire 25. The transmitting or receiving of signals with the piezo-electric vibrators 12 and 17 is performed with a transmitting/receiving circuit 42 to be controlled with a control circuit 48, a receiving circuit 43 and a video circuit 47 via channel selection circuits 44. 45 and 46. Thus, tomographic images 50 and 51 of scan surfaces orthogonal to each other are displayed in real time on a monitor TV 49.
