PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and reliably drain a dipped work. SOLUTION: A work dipping apparatus 2 for dipping the predetermined number of works W to be cold-forged in a vessel containing liquid such as lubricant comprises a trough 24 as the vessel having a large number of draining holes in a bottom part and closed by a rear wall at the back side, a trough driving means 31 for moving the trough 24 in the vertical direction to the work W dipping position at which a lower predetermined area is dipped in the liquid and a work W delivery position B at which the dipped works W is delivered forward above the liquid, and an oscillating machine 32 for oscillating the trough so as to advance the work W by the oscillation at the work delivery position B and deliver the work forward.
