PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operability of a mobile communication terminal which achieves a chat function using email. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal comprises: a mail selecting part 6 for letting a user select an email in a mail storage part 4; a mail browsing part 5 for displaying the email selected by the user on a mail browsing screen D3; a member storage part 8 for causing members participating in chat to be stored as registered members; and a chat processing part 7 by which the text of the email received from any of the registered members while the chat screen D1 is being displayed is displayed within a chat screen D1 as a chat message. When a predetermined character string is included in the subject of the email selected by the mail selecting part 6, the chat processing part 7 displays the chat screen D1.
