PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint material capable of obtaining an excellent appearance even if the same parts are used in a groove with a different width and securing a sufficient water sealability. SOLUTION: The joint material 1 is provided with a joint main member 2 and a pedestal 3 supporting the joint main member 2. A plurality of connection parts 13 partly protruding from the upper face of the pedestal 3 for connecting the joint main member 2 and the pedestal 3 between them are formed. When used for a large joint width, the joint material is used as the pedestal 3 is attached, and when used for a small joint width, the joint material is used after the pedestal is separated at the connection part.
