PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyance device capable of letting walk rate of a belt member react to misalignment amount given to a steering roll sensitively, improving control performance related to displacement in the direction of width of the belt member, and reducing cost. SOLUTION: This belt conveyance device is provided with the endless belt member stretched around a plurality of conveyance members and turning along a predetermined passage, a driving roll forming one of the plurality of conveyance members and transmitting rotation power to the belt member, and the steering roll forming one of the remaining conveyance members other than the driving roll and changing an arrangement angle for the other conveyance member arbitrarily. The conveyance member adjacent to the upstream side or the downstream side of the steering roll with respect to the direction of rotation of the belt member among the plurality of conveyance members is constituted as a non-directional conveyance member.
