PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact storing case which can be also used for a case for exhibition in a rental shop. SOLUTION: A retaining portion 5 is provided so that it may be housed within the opening portion 4 of the back 2 in a small volume state by a great sink with the head center pressed strongly, in a state that a door 21 is closed while housing the retaining portion by taking out a disc-like recording medium from the body 1, when inserting a rental case RC where the recording medium is housed into the body from the top opening 23, it is provided so that the upper portion of the same case may be exposed from the top face opening 23 to a predetermined height by abutting against a stopper portion 30 by that the bottom of the rental case is made to pass through the top face of the retaining portion 5, it is composed so that it can be used for the exhibition in the rental shop in the state that the upper portion of the rental case RC is exposed.
