<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain increased throughput of a cell assay system by utilizing the membrane potential of an oocyte. <P>SOLUTION: High-precision electrode arrays are prepared through fine processing technology and the electrode arrays are simultaneously inserted into individual cells that are charged in a measurement area by using an automatic cell charger, and membrane potentials are measured at the same time, when a low molecular weight compound is added to the each cell and the membrane potentials are generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
