DISC CARTRIDGE AND PHOTON MODE OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING/REPRODUCING APPARATUS

Optical characteristics of a photon mode optical information recording medium are prevented from being easily deteriorated, by a simple configuration. A disc cartridge wherein the photon mode optical information recording medium is stored is provided with a disc case (1) having an opening section (40), and a shutter (2) which moves between a closing position at which the opening section (40) is closed and an open position at which the opening section (40) is opened. The disc case (1) is provided with an optical path bending section which makes a space between a shutter (2) at the closing position and the disc case (1) in a shape bent at least at two points. A stray light passing through the space between the disc case (1) and the shutter (2) is bent at least at two points.
