A control apparatus and the like that can perform an exclusive control within a single network without adding any new arrangement to an existing controlled apparatus and that can maintain and continue the original exclusive control state even when the controlled apparatus or the like drops out of the network. A bus system (S) wherein controlled apparatuses (C) are exclusively associated with control apparatuses (CC) such that the operation of any one of the controlled apparatuses (C) is controlled by any one of the control apparatuses (CC), and further wherein exclusive-control information, which is indicative of which one of the control apparatuses (CC) controls the operation of which one of the controlled apparatuses (C), is equally stored in each of the control apparatuses (CC) for each of the controlled apparatuses, thereby controlling, based on the stored exclusive-control information, the operation of any one of the controlled apparatuses (C) from any one of the control apparatuses (CC).
