<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing method capable of effectively and surely closing a leaking part of a pipe without having influence on a gas related apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the sealing method for closing the leaking part by supplying a sealant comprising a sealing compound capable of closing the leaking part of the pipe to the supply gas flow in the pipe and by running it with the gas flow, the leaking part is closed while scavenging the excessive sealant passing through the pipe by a scavenger positioned in the downstream side with respect to the gas flow compared to the leaking part and the upstream side compared to the gas related apparatus connected to the pipe. As the sealing compound, cycle olefinoxides (for example, cycloalkene oxide such as cyclohexene oxide), olefin oxide having an affinity group with respect to the remaining sealant (for example, hydroxy alkene oxide such as glycidol), and diketones (for example,β-diketones such as acetylacetone) can be used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
