<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric bed capable of preventing a user of the bed from feeling pressure when the back is raised by a simple structure, and preventing the displacement of the user. <P>SOLUTION: When a back bottom 12 is in the horizontal state, a rotation shaft 11 is located higher than the back bottom 12. Accordingly, the rotation shaft 11 is at a position closer to the waist of the bed user than an end (a connection shaft 16) of the back bottom 12 when the bed user lies on the back on a mattress. Accordingly, when the back bottom 12 is rotated in the direction of rising, the upper half body of the bed user is rotated around the waist region, but the bed user does not feel much pressure because the the back bottom 12 is also rotated around the rotation shaft 11 located close to the waist region of the bed user.
