PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller shaft support structure, smoothly fitting a shielding member to an inner ring member, and easily and surely positioning the shielding member to the inner ring member. SOLUTION: In fitting the shielding member 64 to the inner ring 42 by a fastening band 70, an engagement piece 78 provided on the outer periphery of a connecting part 66 of the shielding member 64 is gradually inclined to the projecting part 76 side of a band body 74 and a projecting part 76 is inserted in a through hole 80 of the engagement piece 78. At this time, the diameter of the connecting part 66 of the shielding member 64 is narrowed down to reduce the diameter. The pressure is applied to a large-diameter part 42C of the inner ring 42 from the connecting part 66 of the shielding member 64 so that the shielding member 64 is easily and surely fitted to the inner ring 42.
