<p>A computer system and a control method thereof are provided to offer a minimized computer system capable of being carried conveniently by realizing all functions of a keyboard and a mouse only by using a touch pad. A computer system comprises a touch pad(10), a storage unit(20), a display unit(40) and a control unit(50). The touch pad comprises a plurality of key areas, and generates key signals according to the touch input about each key area. The storage unit stores a relation table of character values which are corresponded with the key areas respectively. If a key signal is generated in the touch pad, the control unit reads out the character value corresponding to a key area, and displays the character value on the display unit. And if key signals about the plural areas are generated continuously and alternately, the control unit displays the character values by changing the character values sequentially. The control unit comprises a driver(53) and an application(51).</p> |
