PURPOSE:To easily produce perovskite-type multiple oxide powder having small particle size, narrow particle size distribution and large specific surface area at a low production cost. CONSTITUTION:A perovskite-type multiple oxide powder expressed by the general formula ABO3 (A is one or more alkaline-earth metals; B is one or more tetravalent metallic elements) is produced by adding a hot aqueous solution of a hydroxide of an element constituting the A-site to a mixed solvent containing a water-immiscible organic solvent having a boiling point of >=100 deg.C and a surfactant at 60-95 deg.C to obtain an emulsion solution, adding a solution of an alkoxide of an element constituting the B-site to the obtained emulsion solution to form a perovskite-type multiple oxide, heating the reaction mixture at 100 deg.C to remove the water and drying the product under reduced pressure to eliminate the organic solvent. |
