DUST COLLECTING AND DEODORIZING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting and deodorizing device capable of surely collecting dust contained in air and surely removing odor contained in the air.

SOLUTION: This dust collecting and deodorizing device 10A is formed of a deodorizing cartridge 12 of honeycomb structure having an air passage for circulating air and formed of a plurality of hollow members extending in the length direction, an air filter 13 disposed at one end in the length direction of the deodorizing cartridge 12, and a storage case 11 storing the cartridge 12 and the air filter 13. At least one of activated carbon, artificial zeolite powder and charcoal powder for adsorbing odor is fixed to the internal circumferential face whole area of the hollow member forming the deodorizing cartridge 12.
