The converter has chopping switches (Q1-Q4) with a bridge entering into input terminals (1, 10) and a series resonant circuit (4). Nodes (41, 42) are connected to the associated switches (Q1, Q3) by primary windings (23, 33) of transformers (21, 31). The nodes are connected to the switches (Q2, Q4) by secondary windings (24, 34) of the transformers, where the primary windings and the secondary windings are provided around a same core. The primary windings include voltage characteristics similar to voltage characteristics of secondary windings of the transformers.
