PURPOSE: An extrusion speed control method and system for an extruder are provided to control the extruder speed smoothly and stably by employing an encoder instead of a cam limit switch and decelerating, accelerating, or stopping the current speed of the encoder according to the position of a RAM(Random Access Memory) beam. CONSTITUTION: An extrusion speed control method for an extruder is as follows. An extrusion process is prepared by driving an inverter to transfer a RAM beam of the extruder(201). The RAM beam is advanced to an oven furnace where the transfer speed of the RAM beam is controlled by decelerating or accelerating the current speed of the encoder according to the position of the RAM beam(202~209).
