<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inventory management system with high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises storage part identification tags LAT provided to each article storage part, and a transport vehicle identification tag FAT. The storage part identification tag LAT can send storage part identification information to a management controller MC, and the transport vehicle identification tag FAT can send the transport vehicle identification information to the storage part identification tag LAT.
