PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf stroke training device. SOLUTION: The golf stroke training device includes a base that has a first section and a second section, and a vertical guide coupled to the base along the first section and a considerable part of the edge of the second section of the base. The vertical guide is substantially perpendicular to the base. The first section has an arc, and the second section comprises a substantially straight edge. The vertical guide coupled to the first and second sections of the base forms a substantially continuous path for receiving and guiding the heel of a golf putter head during a golf putting stroke.
