In a flat panel display apparatus (FPD), a member including an optical film such as a polarized plat, a phase difference plate and the like has been used. As such an optical film, an optical film manufactured by curing a composition including a polymerizable liquid crystal compound on a substrate is known. However, the existing optical film has lack of uniformity in a phase difference within a film surface and has insufficient optical compensation properties for inhibiting light leakage in displaying in black of a display apparatus caused by the uniformity in a phase difference. Thereby, the present prevention is to provide an optical film comprising: alignment film including a leveling agent; and an optical anisotropic layer on the alignment film. |
