The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling hands-free for vehicle configured to control the hands-free function of equipment for vehicle by determining whether a mobile terminal is in a call termination mode once the terminal of a call is input in equipment for vehicle. The apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a first terminal state determination unit which determines whether a mobile terminal is in a call termination mode once the termination of a call is input in equipment for vehicle; a first hands-free control unit which terminates a hands-free function of equipment for vehicle once the mobile terminal is determined to be in the call termination mode; a second terminal state determination unit which determines again whether the mobile terminal is in the call termination mode once the predetermined time elapses once the mobile terminal is not in the call termination mode; and a second hands-free control unit which terminates the hands-free function of equipment for vehicle once the mobile terminal is determined to be in the call termination mode, and maintains the hands-free function of equipment for vehicle once the mobile terminal is not determined to be in the call termination mode when determined again. |
