APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING INDOOR MAP

Suggested is an apparatus for transmitting an indoor map which gradually transmits a part of the indoor map appropriate to the structure and the characteristics of an indoor space when transmitting the indoor map with regard to the indoor space from a server to a user terminal and a mobile terminal. The suggested apparatus includes: an indoor map establishing unit which establishes the indoor map and related information including division information on the indoor map divided by gradual transmission units; an indoor map information registering unit which manages the indoor map and the related information and transmits the related information corresponding to the specific indoor map to the user terminal as the registering unit receives a request for searching the specific indoor map from the user terminal; and an indoor map providing unit which registers the indoor map and the related information on an indoor map information register and gradually provides the corresponding divided indoor map following the request for the specific indoor map from the user terminal.
